This section of the Sihl River is truly breathtaking. Crystal-clear water flows gracefully around massive boulders that rise majestically from the riverbed. The sound of the water cascading over the stones adds a soothing rhythm to the natural symphony of the landscape.

Very nice walk, nice combination with an evening visit to Zurich. Route 689 is well indicated everywhere, also the last part is a very nice descent via the different steps and back roads, especially at sunset.

The traces of storms from recent years and decades are clearly visible here. The Sihl does not always flow so peacefully...

Beautiful area, hiking with the sound of water rippling, what more could you want? When we were at the top we hiked through the Erlenbacher Tobel. Also highly recommended. Nice and shady even in summer. You can go swimming. Then we took the boat back to Bürkliplatz.
