Etang Neuf in Ingrannes is a small lake surrounded by a forest of oaks, beeches and pines. You can enjoy the tranquility of nature and observe the birds and animals that live in the area. It's a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

The Grand Étang in Traînou is a large pond surrounded by a wooded area which is part of the network of Natura 2000 protected sites. Parallel to the Loire, this beautiful pond offers beautiful views of the surrounding area including Orléans Cathedral. There is also a leisure center and a beach.

The pond is located in the park of the Château de Charbonnière. It is fed by the Ruet stream, a tributary of the Bionne. Since the Middle Ages, monks and successive owners have dug numerous bodies of water to drain the area.

The pond beach is a very pleasant place to relax. Between June and September swimming is authorized and supervised. The playgrounds are located behind the beach. The structures are diverse, and will please children of all ages.
