We didn't quite understand why the Blue Eye was so popular. We found the area 300m before the Blue Eye (by the bridge) much nicer and more relaxing. Nevertheless, despite the freezing, wet temperatures, many people lingered below, and some even dared to jump into the icy water.

Easy mountain bike ride to the lake. Anyone expecting a mountain lake will be disappointed. The trail through the lake isn't even wet. I suspect the lake hasn't seen water in years.

Beautiful views towards Theth Valley! Definitely one of the most beautiful places in Albania. Be careful of oncoming traffic!

After the bridge the road will turn into gravel until Prekal. Coming down from Theth the road is on Tarmac

Golden tip: also visit the two old wooden bridges near the route. Some narrow stretches along the mountainside...
