Authentic feudal castle which has retained its main building and its fortified stables from the 16th century.

This magnificent castle can be visited and appreciated at its fair value. You can also stay there if you wish. Legend has it that Shakespeare stayed there and was inspired to write All's well that ends well. (All's well That ends well).

With a rich history involving Richard Coeur de Lion and the 30-year war, this castrum is now owned by a British couple.

In this charming little town, you will find a campsite less than 500 meters from the town centre, at a place called Réquillou, as well as a bakery, butcher and small grocery store. The remains of the Pech Curet dolmen as well as the Lacoste castle are also to be seen on the communal grounds.
