The 14 metre Picot Cross is another stunning viewing point which is a fifteen minute walk away. Sweeping plains, the southeast coast, the Castle of Santueri and, on a fine day, Cabrera island, are all visible from here.

A hiking trail leads to Sant Salvador, but you can also easily drive up there by car or bike. From the top you have a fantastic all-round view of the island. The coastal towns in the east can be seen very well. There are fireplaces for grilling and of course the statue of Christ.

On the Puig des Milá (478 m), which is about 250 meters before the summit plateau north of the Puig de Sant Salvador and is a little lower, stands the Creu de Picot or more precisely Creu d'Es Picot. A short narrow footpath leads up there. Es Picot is a vulgar name meaning "woodpecker".[57] The Spanish inscription reads:  cermans aouests bracós semper oberts per a tothom  (Always keep your arms open for the brothers, August 25, 1957). The stone cross is 14 meters high and was erected in 1957. It replaced two earlier ones that had been destroyed by weather and storms. The first wooden cross was erected towards the end of the 19th century. The second metal cross was 11 meters high and existed between 1927 and 1951.

In the entrance area of the pilgrimage chapel, the jerseys of the Mallorcan cycling world champion Guillermo Mortimer can be admired. After half of the inhabitants of Felanitx were killed by the plague in 1348, the city council decided to build a church on the nearby mountain called Sant Salvador in gratitude for saving the remaining inhabitants, which was completed a year later. The current church was built between 1707 and 1734 and was built because the first one was no longer able to cope with the stream of pilgrims that came up the mountain on the holidays. The city of Felanitx, which until then was the owner of Sant Salvador, auctioned the area in 1885. The new owner was the Felanitx citizen Don Antonio Pug, who was also the bishop of Puerto Rico. He finally handed the complex over to the diocese of Mallorca, which entrusted it to a brotherhood of hermit monks. However, the time of the monks was finally over in 1992 at Sant Salvador. Since then, the property has been managed by two Mallorcan families and the small room rental has now become a hotel.
