Visit to Marjal del Moro The Marjal del Moro or Moors are a swamp area located between the towns of Puçol and Sagunto. It is a protected natural area, special protection areas for birds that have been classified by the European Union as natural areas of unique importance for the conservation of endangered birds. In The Moro Marsh, many bird species can be seen without being shocked, thanks to the protection systems and monitoring infrastructure installed in recent years. The place name is derived from Arabic, the meaning of which means “common pastureland” and indicates the importance of agriculture and livestock breeding in the region. Due to its capacity of 30,000 m³ and the lack of water sources in the nature park, it is of great value for the fauna. It is currently included in the catalog of wetlands of the Valencian Community

The route is very beautiful. We can park in the town of Chóvar and start walking from there. The route can be made longer or shorter, as it suits us, if we decide to get to the fridge or not.
