The 'JAMEOS DEL AGUA' belong to the 'CACT (Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo)'. Originally it was a broken lava bubble from a lava flow that flowed into the sea from the volcano 'La Corona' here. In the 1960s, this place became a rubbish dump and César Manrique, the artistic initiator, and José Ramírez Cerdá, the island's president at the time, started the initiative to create this tourist center. Jesus Soto was significantly involved in the realization years 1963 to 1966.
