Yeste is a Spanish town and municipality located in the western part of the Sierra de Segura region, in the province of Albacete, autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. It limits with the Albacete municipalities of Vianos, Riópar, Molinicos, Elche de la Sierra, Letur and Nerpio, and with the Jaén municipalities of Santiago-Pontones, Segura de la Sierra and Siles. The Segura, Zumeta, Taibilla and Tus rivers flow through its term. The Yestero municipality includes the population centers of Yeste, Alcantarilla, Arguellite, Fuentes, Góntar, Graya, Jartos, Moropeche, Paúles, Rala, Raspilla, Sege, Tindavar and Tus. Among its historical heritage, the castle and church in Yeste and numerous medieval watchtowers of the villages stand out, and at a landscape and natural level the rivers that flow through the municipality and its valleys, the Fuensanta reservoir and the Calares del Mundo natural park and of the Sima. Its most important festivals are those of San Bartolomé in August and the Popular Traditions Fair, in October.
