The route on komoot isn't entirely accurate, and there was no water in the river. So, there were waterfalls when we were there.

On this path we have spectacular views of the rock walls of the deep Rambla de Sacaras and the Cortes reservoir where the ravine flows into.

The path surprises you with this giant raft in the middle of nowhere. It is located in a privileged location with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain walls. Without a doubt, it is an ideal place to make a stop en route.

The first climb from Casas del Rio to Balsa de Ves is very hard. The road is in poor condition and has a lot of slope!

From Balsa de Ves it's an absolutely beautiful route down to the Rio Cabriel and then up again towards La Portera. An absolutely breathtaking route - you discover something new at every bend. At the Rio Cabriel there is a bathing area and a campsite as well as an old hydraulic water wheel.

At this point, a few meters from the Chirel castle, there is a viewpoint with amazing views of the Júcar river and its cliffs. It is a detour of a few meters once you reach the castle and from there it only remains to appreciate the views.

Very picturesque site worth visiting. From Millares you can get there by cycling, from Rambla Tambuc the descent is very technical and I recommend doing it on foot, it's a few meters and the views are incredible all the way.
