La Silla del Cid is an imposing mountain formation in the province of Alicante, located between the municipalities of Petrel and Monforte del Cid. This mountain range occupies an approximate area of 51 km² and is part of the Sierra del Cid and Maigmó Natural Area.

Nice views from the top at 843 masl! The way to get there is also very cool, with several alternatives between good tracks and entertaining paths.

The climb to La Mola is a must if you are in the Novelda area. From the top you can appreciate beautiful views of the town, the Castle and the Magdalena Sanctuary. The climb is not very demanding but it is recommended to bring enough water and walking sticks.
