This great little unknown is located very close to the town of Samartín del Mar, so it is worth visiting. Next to the Ría de Villaviciosa, this waterfall about five meters high is a surprise within the riverside forest.

The Molín de la Peña is the most complete mill on the entire Los Molinos de Río Profundu route. In this beautiful corner, you can also enjoy a beautiful waterfall.

An impressive waterfall and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area. It has a drop of about 15 meters high and is surrounded by a lush natural landscape, with lush forests and steep mountains. The water that falls from the waterfall forms a natural pool at the base and is a popular place to swim in summer. In its surroundings there are archaeological remains of old mining operations and other structures of historical interest.

The town of Villamayor is part of the council of Piloña, on the edge of the homonymous river. Nestled between green meadows, high rocky mountains and lush forests, Villamayor preserves a beautiful traditional architecture in which the wood finishes stand out. The town has a few accommodations and a couple of bars.

Access track to the Villamayor recreational area and Cascada El Chorrón, very good surface, gravel. Very easy to do, very beautiful forests and landscapes. Be careful that the cars circulate along the track to the recreational area. Suitable for Gravel, Hybrid and Mtb bikes.
