The GR 82 is the path that traces the Arlanzón Reservoir and that surrounds the whole of the riverbank offering views of the marsh at all times. The landscape, always close to the shore.

Nice stretch of greenway where you pedal alongside the swamp. You cross an iron footbridge and a beautiful riverside forest.

It is one of the two reservoirs that supply water to the entire region of Burgos. If you are pedaling along the greenway, it is a perfect area to rest enjoying the views of the sheet of water and the spaciousness.

The road that borders the Arlanzón reservoir has an incredible perspective of the mountains as a backdrop. The clouds are reflected in the water and the views in general give meaning to cycling in these remote places.

It is a route along a marked path (for hiking or biking) that was the layout of an old mining train. Most of the road is covered by woods and trees, passes by the side of the beautiful Arlanzón reservoir and reaches the pretty town of Pineda de la Sierra. The Greenway continues to Monterrubio, but this section marked as a favorite is the one from Arlanzón to Pineda.

The Arlazón Reservoir is the perfect place to take a refreshing break on the Green Way of the Sierra de la Demanda.
