I recommend my "out" route rather than the "in" route in my itinerary. I had a tough time getting to the monolith through a real sea of boxwood.

This humble but picturesque hermitage is located in the heart of the Montes de Valdorba and on the top of Cerro Pelaio at 959 meters above sea level.

To get to the top you can choose a wide variety of paths, each one with its technical difficulty but surely with any of them you will enjoy the journey and especially the views. Coming from Elorz, the GR 220 path is impassable in sections, I do not recommend going along it, besides that it is a path for walkers and it can be somewhat crowded.
