Ojén is a beautiful white town with less than 4,000 inhabitants. It enjoys an extraordinary location thanks to its quick connection to the mountains and the coast. On the one hand, the town is located on the Coastal Mountain Range; on the other, it is only ten kilometers from Marbella.

The water from the Sierra de las Nieves flows into this cave, forming the Rio Grande.

If the weather permits, you can see the coast of Africa.

This place features a virgin statue in one of the caves above the fountain. The fountain itself is pretty and good place to rest before climbing up Torrecilla mountain. No drinking water though.

The Nacimiento consists of a spring, a small lake and a water reservoir for local water supply. The water comes directly from the mountain and is absolutely clean, but also very cold. Anyone who can stand cold water can swim here or even with their legs into the water. The Nacimiento is very quiet, a magical place. There is also a cave in which cave divers have explored. It is worth to browse a bit in the area, to look at the cave and to enjoy the beautiful nature.
