The refuge is a simple cabin with a fireplace, stove and wooden bunk beds. It is an ideal starting point for exploring Peña de la Gallina and other nearby routes, such as the Camino del Cid. The circular route from the refuge to Peña de la Gallina offers spectacular views and is suitable for hiking, mountain biking and running.🚵🚶♀️🚴😎🌄

Fairly large shelter, with two picnic tables inside (large), windows, and plenty of space around to put mats and sleep. It does not have a fireplace. It is in a recreational area, with a fountain and picnic tables also outside. The lagoon is close, and you can hear many birds. Very quiet and very pleasant area.
