Waterfall over a rock pool and natural arch in a river gorge, accessed via a paved hiking trail.

An easy hike with kids and a wonderful place to visit. It is truly a magical natural place. Can be crowded at times. Please leave it cleaner than you found it.

It is not for everyone, the descent is very steep and you need good shoes and confidence.

The Salt del Molí Bernat is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the country with a 50 meter drop, it belongs to the Gorgàs stream, from the Sot de Balà. The whole of the balma, the jump and the remains of the mill make up one of the most attractive and unique places in the region. If you want to see the jump in all its glory, we recommend doing the route after rains, despite the added difficulty because of the mud you can find on the way down, but seeing the water fall from inside the balma is really impressive .

This was originally going to be a loop but after the walking behind the waterfall we ended up on the cliff face and the path vanished. Well worth the walk to the waterfall but I would return back shortly after that.

the path crosses the Riera de les Palanques ford, a few meters below this jump, just before it ends at the Pantà de Sau,

The Barra de ferro is a spectacular waterfall that is formed when the Torrent de la Bertrana rushes over the Gorgues stream. Very close to the hermitage of Sant Bartomeu Sesgorgues, from where you have a very good view of the jump. The Riera de les Gorgues is enclosed, has a dense and lush vegetation, which means that even during the summer there are cool places and ideal for walking.

A good place to watch the Barra de Ferro waterfall up close whenever you bring water. Better expense of an episode of heavy rain.
