Also called "Jondokorta", it is next to the last free parking lot for visitors. Further up there is another parking lot, Arimekorta, but a special permit is required for that one.

Nice walk through beautiful forest. Doable when it is hot or when it rains because of the dense canopy for most of the walk. Sometimes the path was overgrown but we could always find it thanks to komoot. The start of the walk took some searching. After the house (from Bilbao) take the country road immediately on the right and park the car there. Very quiet. Didn't meet anyone

Nice walk around the Kurtzeta reservoir. Cross the dam and don't forget to look out and enjoy the incredible views of Ganekogorta and Biderdi peaks, especially after the early season fresh snow cover.

The trail reaches the Lingorta Reservoir collecting the waters of the mountain streams to create this incredible scenic landscape.

Spectacular reservoir surrounded by the Sierra Sálvada mountain range in the north of Álava. The dam is a popular place for fishing. In addition, the reservoir serves as a refuge for migratory birds. The surroundings of the dam allow you to enjoy a natural space made up of pine forests, oaks and shrubs.

Depending on where you're looking from, it looks like a beautiful alpine lake. And being at the foot of the peaks of Sierra Salvada gives it a special beauty.

Small but charming lagoon of the Gorbea natural park. A good idea to combine it with the Altube and Corraladas waterfalls.

A haven of peace...good place to watch birds.
