The Can Borrell reservoir is a small Spanish hydraulic infrastructure built on the Rabassada torrent, located in the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallés, in the Vallés Occidental region, province of Barcelona, Catalonia. It was built to supply water to the Can Borrell farmhouse. Regarding the vegetation, the environment of the swamp is dominated by a Mediterranean oak forest and a Mediterranean white pine forest.

In summer it is very good due to the shadows there are. A beautiful place, a little haven of peace. A fountain that was part of a farmhouse in the area and is an entrance to the mountain.

Hydraulic infrastructure built at the head of the Vallvidrera stream, the most important watercourse in the Collserola mountain range, collects the rains from a territory of about 135 hectares of this mountain range. The dam began to be built in 1850 with the aim of guaranteeing the water supply to the old municipality of Sarrià.

Good circuit to run quietly, do series, being able to combine the classic with variants of small slopes if you do it by the entrance of the pools and the dog enclosure.

A good area for walking or mountain biking. The swamp is a jewel of 19th century hydraulic engineering. You can also visit Mina Grott, built to carry water from the swamp to the old town of Sarrià.

The Vallvidrera reservoir was built in 1865 by the engineer Elies Rogent, to give water to the Sarria district in Barcelona. Today it is no longer used for this purpose, remaining as a leisure and enjoyment area for the people who visit it. A beautiful place highly recommended to visit.
