Høystakka Waterfall plunges down a steep rock face, sending spray into the air as it carves its way through the rugged mountainside. The trail approaching the falls follows natural, sometimes uneven terrain with rocky sections and patches of grass, adding a touch of adventure to the experience.

An impressive waterfall fed by two tributaries. Curiously, all of the falling water is collected at the bottom and drained underground. The rugged riverbed below the waterfall was dry, at least at the end of July.
