A cute little waterfall that flows down a small rock face. You can cross to the other side via a ford, though during heavy rain, you may have to wade through the water.

This section of the Sæterbekken stream drops steeply over several steps. I visited this waterfall during a dry period in April 2025, but it was still worth the trip. From this spot, you can see the waterfall particularly well.

Lysakerelva is a gorgeous river that separates Oslo from Bærum. It provides the option of a nice out and back from the city, or a run here can be combined with nearby Bogstadvannet.

An early highlight on any run along Lysakerelva, Granfoss is one of quite a few cascades you'll see along the river. If heading north, the run changes character here, leaving the paved surfaces behind and heading for more rugged trails.
