This aqueduct brought water to Jesi... Beautiful structure built in great style! At that time, beauty was still combined with utility. It looks like the entrance to a dwarf mine described by Tolkien in "lords of the ring". A very nice place that offers coolness on hot days during the summer... I also find it suitable for a treasure hunt for children.

Near the waterfall, right in the middle of the path, the settlement of a landslide highlighted a spring, which was rich in water in this period.

Here is one of the various waterfalls along the Fosso di Rosora. During the summer, the ditch carries very little water, so it is advisable to visit it in spring or autumn to appreciate all the beauty of the waterfalls.

A huge unknown waterfall near an old aqueduct. A short path but to be done in late winter, early spring due to lack of water in the summer. Coming from the SS 76 from Ancona towards Fabriano, turn towards the tufico / albacina village, at the roundabout take the second exit and at the junction with the SS 76 take a right for the locality Tronchetti. Leave the vehicle before the climb that indicates Grotte Alte and continue on foot. You pass through some houses, then the road, always uphill, becomes a breach and ends in the presence of an old wash house. From there, take the imperceptible road to the left, pass over the weeds and continue along the small path marked by an iron handrail. After passing the ruins of an ancient house, go down old stone steps to the old aqueduct where the structure and the waterfall behind it is clearly visible (alas, dry in the time I went). I recommend long pants because it is full of nettle !!!

The vegetation grown on the stone of the waterfall makes the place magical. Quiet, cool and shady.
