The path that starts from Traona to reach Domofole Castle is very dirty currently (June 2024). Furthermore, the area is very famous for being full of ticks so be extremely careful!

Very cute this tiny village with the tower that can be visited by paying 3 euros

You pay 3 euros to visit the tower but just walking around the paths of this mini village is very nice there is a picnic table and a fountain

Even if the complex was badly damaged at the end of the 18th century, it is still worth a visit simply because of the breathtaking view.

The early medieval castle, of which only the tower, part of the wall and the chapel of Santa Maria Maddalena remain, was popularly called the Queen's Castle, as it is widely believed that the Lombard queen Teodolinda lived there. Road leading to Torre Fontanedo. From the Fort (well maintained) you can see the lake. Ring route 'ring of Fontanedo' or from the fort you can get to Robustello with an enduro route.
