Very beautiful area and great view.

Just a short distance off the path there is a small grotto. Remnants show that the mountain goats like to use it as a shelter from the weather.

Very nice coastal hike from Santa Maria Navarrese to Pedra Longa and back with a swim stop Pure walking time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes, with numerous photo stops and a long bath. Good 2 hours. longer - we took our time with the temperatures.

Domus de Janas means "houses of the fairies" in English. These are Sardinian rock tombs. A visit is worthwhile, especially with children. 🙂

After the Grutta de is Janas short up to the lookout point on the top of the mountain, then down the -frequently-driven- road

well-developed mountain path, short and crisp climb, very well maintained. The complex is probably unique in Sardinia and the view at its best

Through a small breakthrough in the wall you get from the viewpoint Baunei on a serpentine-like, beautifully landscaped path. The descent leads past the Grutta 'e Janas.
