On November 18, 2022, the research platform in Geesthacht/Tesperhude on the Elbe was officially inaugurated at the jetty. The Helmholtz Center Hereon operates the research platform. It continuously provides data on water quality in the Elbe, which is made available to the public. In addition, the research platform can be used by interested parties from science and industry on request.
