Il Castello di Barengoは、集落の背後にある丘の上にそびえ立ち、周囲の平野よりも高い位置にあり、元々はフランチェーナ街道とセシア川の浅瀬を結んでいた道に沿ってあります。 元の15世紀の構造は、何世紀にもわたって数多くの変更と改変を受け、19世紀初頭にはすでに部分的に廃墟となっていました。 1849年、ロッカは修復工事を受け、元の構造が変更されました。 第一次世界大戦後、所有権はガウデンツィオ・トルニエッリ・ディ・ボルゴラヴェッツァーロ伯爵に移り、彼は建築家カルロ・ニグラに中世の様式規範に従って複合施設の再建を依頼しました。 その後の修復は、現在の所有者であるボロリ家によって行われました。 再建にもかかわらず、スタンドの壁、基礎、いくつかの入り口のドアなど、元の構造の多くの証拠が残っています。
