Very challenging to cross by bike. (Electric bikes are even worse). A flood has filled the riverbed with rocks and tree trunks. The banks are steep and prone to landslides, even though the difference in height is small. It takes a lot of energy to cross. (Mar. 2025)

The Crenna Dou Leui is a characteristic rocky breccia located at 2,340 meters above sea level. It is part of the Alta Via 1 of the Aosta Valley and the Tor des Géants route. In addition to the peculiar rock formations, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley below. The terrain is rocky but not particularly technical; however, it is quite steep.

Shortly after Fontainemore you can see the bridge on the right which can be reached in half a minute on foot. It dominates the river to a height of several tens of meters. Worth a stop!

the passage of the Caramala stream is prevented by landslides and the banks are very steep so I do not recommend the passage by MTB. Too bad because the route that leads to this location is among the most evocative of the Oasis
