No long journey necessary from Agropoli, varied hike with often great views. Hiking poles are useful because the sections of the path are sometimes steeper.

The summit of Monte Stella reaches 1131 meters in height, houses a sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna della Stella and also large antennas and a radar sphere. From here you can enjoy a panoramic view of the whole Cilento area and the sea.

Challenging and technical single track in some sections, with 150 meters of ascent it allows you to reach the summit of Monte Tresino from the crossroads in Sella dell'Alano

Mount Tresino (356 m above sea level) is a protected natural area in the Cilento National Park, between Agropoli and Castellabate. It offers panoramic circular trails (such as trail 700 or "dei Trezeni," about 10-14 km) through Mediterranean scrub, ancient ruins like the church of San Giovanni, Saracen towers, and breathtaking views of the Bay of Trentova and Capri.

Montstella Church

From the second peak of the route, you can admire a hint of what the view will be on arrival. A view from the Gulf of Licosa to Capri, and in the early morning, even Ischia in the background.
