Stream that disappears into the mountain

The Acqua che Suona valley is a valley located on the north-eastern slope of Mount Cervati characterized by the presence of a water source that flows from a rock. The Fontana degli Zingari draws water directly from the source.

The sinker of Vallivona is one of the natural attractions of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. The particular microclimate of this karst sinkhole makes the environment very special. To reach it, it is necessary to go through a tunnel of about 500 meters in the dark and very humid.

The Grava di Vesalo is a deep karst chasm in the Laurino area, formed by the waters of the Milenzio stream which disappears underground and re-emerges after about 2 km to flow into the Calore river. It is one of the most important natural attractions of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.
