During those days, the Stella Cometa Group's hut serves as a base camp and shelter for volunteers, as well as a reception area for visitors. Beautiful spacious cabin in the middle of the woods, built in wood and stone, just below the panoramic Cima dei Massignani. THE CATULLIANA SOURCE AND TRADE FROM FERRUGINOUS WATER In 1801 Giovanni Catullo cultivated “pyrolusite” (a manganese oxide) near the Fonte Civillina refuge, working on ancient excavations and opening new tunnels.
