Refuge in excellent condition, complete with toilet, fountain and good connection.

It is a refuge whose entrance door was forced open and can now only be accessed with a string. The fountain in the area is excellent. Next to the bivouac there is a path of about 2km with minimal slope which has several tables illustrating the different species of trees present in the area.

Beautiful forest refuge, located in the municipality of Santa Lucia del Mela. Hobs and running water. Great for a nice picnic.

Shelter closed, but laterally there is an open barracks with a room and toilets in fair condition. Provided with water, not drinkable

The Postoleoni refuge is welcoming and has an excellent area equipped with tables, benches, barbecue areas and a drinking water fountain. It is owned by the Forestale, which makes it available only on request.

It doesn't have the comforts of a five-star hotel, but the Brignolaro Hut is ideal for spending the night if you don't want to go down the Dorsale dei Peloritani to Rimiti or Mandanici.
