The Napoleon Bridge near Kobarid is truly impressive. Nowhere else does the Soca River swirl around the rocks in such a turquoise and bright color. And almost every hiker and cyclist takes a few minutes to admire the Soca – and the kayakers training here.

Beautiful nature

A fantastic, well-maintained and well-maintained gravel road through the Judrio Valley on the Slovenian side. Solid surface, very few eroded patches, no potholes, no gutters, paved in exposed areas such as stream crossings and equipped with small bridges. The gradient is extremely gentle, and the gorge-like valley with steep and rugged rock faces along the route adds a touch of adventure. Highly recommended!

A little imagination is needed for the bear

An unusual natural phenomenon – Bear's head. Once upon a time, the triangular stone decided to move. But on the way to the river, he got stuck between the narrow walls of the canyon. Stuck in time now forms a natural bridge. The green-covered rock strongly resembles a bear's head, hence the name.

With its characteristic blue-green colour, the Soča is considered one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe
