Crossing in a very wild but spectacular environment! Difficult to pass over the landslide

Initially a simple path but which hides pitfalls as the altitude increases. You always walk in the bed of the Citate stream. In some places it is necessary to climb on loose rock. Dangerous to reach the Amarianute peak from this side.

I advise against doing it on a bike unless you are very experienced and know what you are doing; as it is all very exposed, with dangerous and humid sections, at times landslides. Furthermore, the path to get there is very steep with very narrow hairpin bends. Even if you want to afterwards you have to push the bike because the next stretch is not suitable for cycling. Rather, it is better to do the southernmost section which is safer and a lot of fun!

Very difficult route, badly marked and even worse maintained, prepare well and better with little load, road tends to be overhanging without any protection
