The gorge of the river Persona which cuts through the passage between Valsugana and Valle dell'Adige is very suggestive in some places.

It is worth taking a guided tour of the deep canyon carved by the waters of the Fersina torrent. Excellent destination for a family walk coming down from Povo or Cognola.

A spectacular waterfall of considerable height, created by the stream of the same name, which flows into the Astico River just downstream. From what I can find online, "Pissavàca" (also spelled "Pissavacca" and "Pisciavacca") is a fairly common place name in the Triveneto region. The left bank of the Astico Valley is dotted with valleys of varying width, carved by streams that descend from the Luserna karst plateau and cut across its steep southern slope, creating spectacular rapids, gorges, and whirlpools. The presence or absence of water depends on rainfall or snowfall: to find a good flow of water, visit on days after rain.

The diameter and depth of the chasm are impressive. It's scary. I advise caution in the cold months (and not only) as there is ice everywhere and the area becomes a skating rink, although there are protective barriers. I speak from lived experience....

'El Gorgo', between S. Pietro Valdastico and Casotto, is a scenic and wild clearing in the middle of the woods: the Torra torrent descends from the valley of the same name through a tortuous and narrow gorge, throwing itself into a crystalline bojo and flowing along the rocks dug and smoothed by the water. In the background of the ravine you can see the overlying and historic Ponte delle Slèche; immediately downstream, however, a work of embankments and bridles begins to tame and slow down the torrent, before it flows into the Astico river. The presence or absence of water, given the torrential nature, depends on precipitation or snowfall: you must visit the place on post-rain days, otherwise you will find a trickle descending from a dry canyon.
