The Skaite rest stop is an ideal starting point for hikes in the southern part of the Muddus National Park. To reach it, you drive over a 10 kilometer long unpaved road. It is worth it!

June 2018: the entrance to the National Park is being pounded up, which is why there is a bit of construction site atmosphere on the skaite. The facilities are all still available.
