The Val Spöl is a rather shady and deliberately wild side valley in the Swiss National Park. It is less busy than other hiking routes and is therefore ideal for quiet hours of hiking.

The hiking trail through the Val dal Botsch runs almost continuously along or in the rocky stream bed. Whether going up or down, the view of the surrounding rugged mountain landscape is very impressive.

The section of the path that continues to Lago di Livigno is particularly interesting. Makes the tour significantly longer and also has a few vertical meters (approx. 140 m), but it is the most beautiful part of the gorge.
