One of the paths is closed, and the other one is clearly not walked very frequently. It's full of plants, and sometimes it's hard to pass through, especially that some parts are pretty steep, and at the same time, you need to balance yourself and be careful with all the bushes and opuncias attacking your face. Said that, the view at the top is spectacular! I took a longer break there just to enjoy sun, view of the sea, other islands and fumarole, wonderful place.

After about 45 minutes on foot from Pignataro port you reach the summit of Monte Rosa. The church up there (Chiesa dell'Esaltazione della Santa Croce) is no longer well preserved and the vegetation around it has now taken over. But the view is worth the trip.

A wonderful panoramic point where you can enjoy a wonderful 360 degree view.

Mount Mazzuni offers a magnificent view capable of leaving you in suspense.

This volcano is located on the island of Vulcano, in the province of Messina. It is still active although it has not erupted for a very long time.

Not an easy path, a part is very steep and slippery (shoes with grip are recommended), but the view at the top is fantastic. Especially at sunset. (There is a fence in front of the path, so officially it is no longer open. Probably because the path is not completely without risk.)

Somewhat neglected little church. Closed. At the cross on the top of the mountain, view of Stromboli. Very nice way from the driveway to the chapel.
