It's part of a larger cave complex (over 200 meters of chambers and corridors). But because it's so valuable, there's also a price list – you can visit it, but for a fee. Łokietek's Cave is an impressive geological formation, 320 meters long, 115 meters horizontally spread and 7 meters deep. Its opening is 453 meters above sea level.

Before climbing the trail, it is worth buying a ticket, because there is no ticket office at the cave itself and you have to go all the way down. The ticket also entitles you to enter the observation deck.

Łokietek's Cave or Łokietek's Grotto (formerly known as the Royal Grotto) - a karst cave with a horizontal development in the Sąspowska Valley in the north-west slope of Chełmowa Góra within the Ojców National Park, open to tourists. The cave is associated with a legend about Władysław Łokietek, who took refuge in it for about 6 weeks after his escape from Krakow from the troops of the Czech king Wenceslas II. His life was saved by a spider, which covered the opening of the cave with a spider's web, misleading the chase. The memento of this event are the names of the cave and its individual chambers, as well as the gate in the shape of a spider's web, closing the entrance. A narrow rock crevice, 20 meters long, leads to the entrance (the remainder of the corridor, the roof of which has collapsed). The main corridor leads to the Knight's Hall measuring 25 × 10 meters, from which two corridors extend: stairs down to the so-called Bedroom and the so-called Kitchen, a room located close to the ground (tree roots hang from the ceiling). The bedroom is the largest room in the cave, measuring 20 × 30 meters. The total length of the corridors and chambers is about 270 meters, the temperature is 7-8 ° C.
