I wouldn't say dangerous, it's demanding once you get to the smaller lake and try to complete the circle. Every hike has it's challenges and you have to be vigilant and careful. Proper footwear is mandatory. Enjoy and respect

The surrounding trees provide shade to the lake, and the question of the name is immediately clarified. Intense green and blue tones appear in sunlight.

Only when the water level is high does the upper/large lake drain into the smaller one. Otherwise you can clearly see the stony drainage channel.

The lake and the landscape have such intense colors. This sight alone is worth the entrance fee. Super beautiful 🥰😍🤩

Be sure to go to the second lake, which is only separated by a mountain. Because it's just a lake. What I loved was the sunset on the lake. If you have time, take a 3-day ticket, which is required everywhere. Not only in Durmitor National Park. Plan your time, we were only 1 day, generally plan two days longer. It's really a great landscape.

If you don't want to go around the two lakes, you can walk right through them. You save yourself a lot of exertion because the path as we walked it is steep, with a lot of rubble and roots. Is only recommended with hiking shoes. I put the markers at the forks in the path. I have pictures of the steep path in so you have an idea. An absolute dream in terms of landscape.

Currently no passage possible (June 22)

In April 22 we were able to walk over stones here when the water level was low - I can't say what it looks like when the water level is higher.
