Cabezo de Piskerra is one of the most iconic geological formations in the Bardenas Reales, Navarre. This mountain, which rises 474 meters above the plain, offers impressive panoramic views of the area and, on clear days, even the Pyrenees. The route to climb Cabezo de Piskerra is circular and approximately 8.86 km long. Along the way, you can appreciate the characteristic desert and eroded landscape of the Bardenas Blanca.

For the last 15 m you should be sure-footed and free from vertigo. You will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view.

I don't see much of a relationship between the two names... The site is cool, but the views are not the best around.

This is another of the natural viewpoints of the Bardenas that are well worth a visit. It helps you get an idea of the scale of the huge and magical place you are in.

At an altitude of 556 meters, we find ourselves in the Peña del Fraile with wonderful views of the semi-desert territory of the Bardenas Reales Natural Park. The path to the top is well marked.

The landscape from up here is surreal, it looks like something out of a science fiction movie. In itself, touring the Bardenas Reales is very interesting, but if you add reaching the top of Piskerra, the views will leave you speechless. From this crossroad you will have the Piskerra on one side and the Cabezo on the other, it is worth visiting both, very beautiful views of all of the Bardenas. Be careful on the way up, there will be sectors with some loose terrain but with a firm step you will arrive without problems.

The ascent to this peculiar formation can be difficult depending on where you decide to do it from. I remember not to risk anything, rather always keep in mind to enjoy the road and in this surreal place enjoy the landscape that is the most impressive!
