Delicious food at about 480 meters above sea level, with a great panoramic view of the Thuringian Forest to the Inselsberg and the Wartburg. Unfortunately closed at the moment.

Beautiful panoramic view of the Thuringian Forest with the Großer Inselsberg (916 m), the Wartbergen, towards Mosbach, Wutha-Farnroda and Eisenach with the Wartburg and the fraternity monument up to the Kleiner Hörselberg. The old, renatured route of the A4 motorway is clearly visible from up here and to the east you can see the new motorway route before it goes north around the Hörselberge near Sättelstädt. In the foreground is the railway line and the towns of Sättelstädt, Kälberfeld and Schönau. There are a few benches along the side of the path and on the summit plateau that invite you to look out and take a rest.
