塔は4月から10月（イースター）まで無休で営業しています。入場は無料です。歩行に障害のある方や高所恐怖症の方は、塔を避けることをお勧めします。昇り降りの階段は1つしかありません。塔の内部の階段でのすれ違いは少し難しいです。外階段は約45段、内階段は約65段あります。高さ30メートルの塔の頂上からの眺めは格別です。塔のふもとには、いくつかのベンチとテーブルがある広々とした牧草地があり、くつろぐことができます。ここには、祭りなどの文化イベントが常に開催されています。（教会を除く）塔の隣には、他に訪れる価値のある建物はありません。

The Tower of Montagny-les-Monts is the remains of an old castle which belonged to Savoy in the 15th century. 30 meters high, it is located in the town of Montagny in the canton of Fribourg. The tower was acquired after the Burgundy Wars in 1478 by Fribourg, it is today managed by Fondation Général de Gady.

The Wallpaper Museum in Mézières is an elegant late Baroque castle. He is one of the last born in the canton of Fribourg. It has existed since 2007 and was recently selected by Swiss heritage among the most beautiful history and knowledge museums in Switzerland. The castellan Frédéric-François-Victor de Diesbach, an officer in the service of France, transformed the castle, renewed the interior decor and the latest fashionable French wallpapers were installed. Very few sets of wallpapers from the end of the 18th century and from the beginning of the 19th century still in place have reached us. In this historical context, the museum also presents temporary exhibitions which focus on paper, historical and contemporary wallpapers as well as discussions on our contemporaneity. The Boyer Tower was built in the 13th century. Shortly after, it was equipped with a complete defensive system, which made it a small castle. In the 19th century, it was acquired at auction by a Mr. Boyer who wanted to use the stones for other constructions. The city bought the building before it could carry out this project, but the Tower kept its name! The esplanade is a very nice playground for children. The Boyer Tower is a significant monument: the thickness of the walls is 3.10 m at the base and 2.60 m at the top, at 38 m!

Mr. Boyer bought it at auction in the 19th century. He wanted to use the stones to build other buildings.
