Anyone traveling to Lake Hallwil should definitely pack their swimming trunks when the weather is nice. There are dozens of inviting and sometimes romantic places where water lovers can let off steam. The water is clear and warm! Barbecue enthusiasts will get their money's worth along the mostly wooded riverside promenade, as will nature lovers. Anyone who wants to fish can do so from the shore without hesitation. The Hallilwersee is of course also easily accessible by boat. The journey times are long and don't keep hikers/walkers waiting long. Hallwyl Castle is of course the star on the lake and certainly the number one tourist hotspot.

The men's pool in Seengen is a historic seaside resort with simple facilities on Lake Hallwil. Today, both men and women are allowed in the bathroom. The Seengener Herrenbadi is a wooden pool in Seengermoos, which is located on the north shore of Lake Hallwil. Access is free and gender segregation has been removed. The pool building has a terrace where you can sunbathe and from where you can access the lake via a staircase. A raft floats in front of the pool and there are changing facilities. Bathing in the men’s pool is at your own risk. There are no catering facilities, showers or toilets in this simple seaside resort. The latter two can be found in the nearby Frauenbadi Seengen. The easiest way to get to the men’s pool is with the Hallwilerseeschiff. The pier Seengen (lake) is about 100m to the west. From the bus stops "Seengen, Rotes Haus" and "Seengen, Brestenberg" it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the pool. There are no parking spaces directly at the pool.

Very nice hike at Beinwil am See. Can be done anytime. This hike starts directly at the public car park (subject to a fee) at the Beinwil am See train station (it costs CHF 5.00 for the whole day. Can be paid at the machine at the kiosk at the train station, or via the SBB P+Rail app. In the warm months you can swim along the Hallwilersee, please note that it is not possible to swim in every place. However, I saw on the way at Badi Alliswil in Boniswil you can swim for free. Is really a very nice little Badi. On this beautiful hike there are various benches as well as nice barbecue areas and various restaurants to take a break. In addition, you always have a beautiful view of the Hallwilersee and also the Baldegersee and in the distance the wonderful Alps, just a dream. Can also be done on foot with children (from 10 years) physical condition must be present. What I also found very nice is the Hombergturm from up there you have a fantastic view. Simply highly recommended. This tower was built in 1910 is a concrete framework construction with a height of 16.90 meters. In 1991 the tower was renovated. 91 steps in 3 different designs lead to the viewing platform. There are also public toilets at the train station. I found the following highlights of the hike: - Along the Hallwilersee is simply pure nature to relax - In the warm months you can also go swimming. - Hombergturm from up here the view is a real dream.
