And it's precisely this waterfall that makes Biberstein Castle such a special place. A wonderful view of the waterfall from the road below the castle. A very beautiful transition from the stream to the waterfall. This impressive scene is best viewed from the lower road.

Is probably the highest waterfall in Gränichen. Next to the fountain under the Susten forest house. This appears to be an overflow from an overflow reservoir.

A varied single trail leads to the Sagi Weiher. Make a stopover and marvel at the small waterfall, among other things. And continue with the 2nd section.

Visited again for more than 20 years. A worthwhile break, especially with children.

As a volunteer, I didn't even know that this phenomenal place existed.

The sandstone caves of Liebegg. Sandstone was mined in Liebegg near Gränichen and the surrounding area over 350 years ago. The most significant occurrence was found here in the Liebegger forest very close to Liebegg Castle. Stone blocks weighing up to 3 tons were transported from the old quarries. The construction of the church in Gränichen, completed in 1663, gnawed at the rock deposits in the area.

As a Gränicher you must have been here once! Great up here.
