塔は4月から10月（イースター）まで無休で営業しています。入場は無料です。歩行に障害のある方や高所恐怖症の方は、塔を避けることをお勧めします。昇り降りの階段は1つしかありません。塔の内部の階段でのすれ違いは少し難しいです。外階段は約45段、内階段は約65段あります。高さ30メートルの塔の頂上からの眺めは格別です。塔のふもとには、いくつかのベンチとテーブルがある広々とした牧草地があり、くつろぐことができます。ここには、祭りなどの文化イベントが常に開催されています。（教会を除く）塔の隣には、他に訪れる価値のある建物はありません。

Early to avoid the crowds

The island of Ogoz is a small island located on Lake Gruyère, in Switzerland. You can access the island by boat or on foot, depending on the water level. Once there, you can explore the ruins of two medieval castles and a chapel, and admire views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Ogoz Island is a great place to experience Swiss culture and nature while getting some exercise.

The ruins of Everdes Castle are all that remains of a medieval fortress built in the 13th century by the lords of Corbières-Vuippens, who were involved in a feud with the towns of Friborg and Bern. The castle did not last long as it was destroyed by fire in 1348 and today only a fragment of its southern surrounding wall remains.
