Imposing rock faces on both sides as you drive up the Brunnital (even more impressive, however, is the large rock wall straight ahead, formed by the north faces of the Gross Ruchen and the Gross Schärhorn).

This thing is marked soooo far from the shot....

The gorge, the tunnel, the bridge... it's just fantastic there!

You keep coming back to the Chärstelenbach, crossing it twice. Nice view up Rtg Hotel Maderanertal and to Gross Düssi and Gross Schärhorn.

Very nice path below the "Gross Band" (rock face) Tricky places are secured with ropes, some steps have been built - the path is not dangerous in dry weather. But you should already be free from giddiness, sure-footed and supervise children well. In wet weather or even ice and snow, the path is definitely not recommended.

Slightly exposed spot, well secured with chains. Looks more harmless in the photo than she is. A head for heights is an advantage.

The Panten Bridge is a double bridge, where the newer bridge was placed on top of the older one. Because the previous bridge has been preserved to this day, construction techniques from different bridge building eras can be viewed in a very small space. The lower stone bridge was built in 1853/54. With the construction of a road from Tierfed to Sandwiti, the new upper bridge was created between 1899 and 1902 over the old bridge. Both bridges were extensively renovated in 1997 and are listed monuments.
