Start 2: Käppele rest area, Baltersweil, distance approx. 6 km. Käppele - Baltersweil Cemetery - Baltersweiler Mill - Hohlgraben - Wangental Biotope - Ölbach Waterfall/Strätzfelse Trail - Kübler's Bio Hüsli (refreshments) - Baltersweil Church - Käppele.

Hi everyone, The access to the Ölbach Waterfall has been restored by some active retirees from Dettighofen. The rest area has also been renovated and now invites hikers to take a break. Enjoy the Ölbach Waterfall experience; we're happy for you!

It's possible to hike along the waterfall/guard again—it's magnificent! Surefootedness is absolutely essential! Thanks to the kind people who went to the trouble of making this possible with stone slabs.

It is a beautiful hike but a little strenuous!

The waterfall is visible from the path when the trees are still bare. The climb is somewhat adventurous and only recommended with reservations. However, the countless snowdrops in the area around the waterfall are a sight to behold in March.

The small waterfall with a picturesque ravine and rocks is right next to the wide wooden path. If you want to wade through the creek a little, you can also watch the fall in the ditch itself.

The smaller fall can be entered from below through the ravine if you don't mind a bit of climbing.
