Even on June 18, 2024, the section in the Küsnachter Tobel (between Johanisburgbach to Spitzacherbächli/Küsnacher Erratikus) is still closed, even with the "detour" via Pfadiheim, access to the Dragon's Cave via the branch at Eichelackerweg is closed and therefore the DRAGON'S CAVE CANNOT be visited/inspected.

A worthwhile detour, especially with children. The path is still officially closed, but only a few people follow the detour. The "massive landslide" now looks quite tidy, and the cave is easy to enter.

Not much to see here, as the cave has an extremely narrow opening. You have to go a bit off the path to find it; it's adjacent to a camping site.

The tunnel can only be entered on your stomach at first, after a few meters you can crawl through dead wood and water on your knees. You can stand further back, but you have to reckon with 5-10cm of clay water and dripping walls even in good weather. The right tunnel arm ends after a good 20m in a dead end, the left one earlier in deep water.
