Beautiful old eel huts. One is open to guests. Here you can take a very nice break.

The public toilet facility is always open (according to a local resident). The water at the sink is drinking water.

At Frejas Gård there are three shelters with a great view over Jels Nedersø. The three shelters are built in connection with the open-air theater in Jels and are used by volunteers from Jels Vikingespil during rehearsal and play time for Jels Vikingespiel. This period usually lasts from week 26 to week 29. The rest of the year you can use the three shelters freely. Reservation is not possible. There is space for whoever comes first. There is also a covered rest area on site.

Small eel huts are privately owned along the nature trail on the banks of Hejls Nor. One of these cabins is open to the public. An owner has opened the cabin for everyone. Here you can take a break protected from the wind or enjoy the view from the veranda.
