プレンティ・ゴージ・パークは、プレンティ川沿いに約11キロメートルにわたって広がり、急な峡谷、森林、湿地、開けた草原など、多様な景観を擁しています。川は、より柔らかい堆積岩を削り、劇的な峡谷を形成し、何百もの在来の動植物種を支える多様な生息地を作り出しています。そのおかげで、この公園はメルボルン地域で最も生態学的に多様な場所の一つとなっています。現在、この公園はレクリエーションの中心地となっており、ウォーキングトレイル、ピクニックエリア、そしてブルーレイクのような修復された旧採石場などがあり、自然の風景や野生生物を楽しむ機会がたくさんあります。

The Anakie Gorge Walk follows a gentle section of trail along Little River at the base of the Brisbane Ranges. Passing through open eucalypt forest and rocky bushland, the track leads to this historic Anakie Gorge reservoir, where a stone dam wall forms a quiet pool surrounded by trees and low hills. Whether you encounter it at the beginning or end of your walk, this peaceful stretch of trail offers a scenic moment beside the water before the route continues deeper into the ranges.

This ridgeline opens onto exposed ground with expansive views across the gorge and surrounding bushland. The vantage point offers a strong sense of the valley’s scale and is a good spot to take a scenic break.

峡谷の真ん中を走って、水の音に耳を傾けるのは気持ちがいい

Silent Streetは、Wonderland CarparkからPinnacleまでのハイキングコースの一部です。ルートは、The Pinnacleの下の長くて狭い峡谷を通過します。

グランドキャニオンは、グランピアンズのワンダーランド山脈にある岩の多い峡谷で、ワンダーランド駐車場からピナクルルックアウトまでの遊歩道の一部です。この峡谷へは、この駐車場からの短い周回コースでもアクセスできます。 https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/sites/grand-canyon-loop-walk

If you do the long loop from the Lerderderg Gorge car park (clockwise, crossing the river that no longer really exists at the weir), you come to a long, boring and steadily ascending road immediately after the weir, from which you then turn right onto this section. And it easily makes up for the section you have just walked. The path can only be found in parts with the help of Komoot navigation, it almost seems like a cross country hike, partly over rocky sections. At the end you stand on a small precipice and look down at the path to the car park - one last climb.

Aire Crossing is a campground in the Great Otway National Park. It is a popular spot for camping, fishing, and hiking. It is located next to the Aire River, which flows through a deep gorge and forms several rapids and pools. It is accessible by a gravel road that is narrow, winding, and steep. It is part of the Aire Heritage River Area, which protects the natural and cultural values of the river and its surroundings. The area is home to diverse flora and fauna, including ferns, eucalypts, koalas, wallabies, and platypuses.
