フランダースの滝・トップ7

ハッセルトの滝は、京都の天龍寺の14世紀の庭園に触発されています。使用されている岩の水平線と垂直線の遊びが特徴です。前景として機能する水中の岩石の配置によって強化されています。滝の右前にある約14トンの大きな岩が際立っています。滝のカーテンの下にある岩は、滝を飛び越える日本の鯉または鯉を象徴しています。100年後、鯉はついに頂上に達し、そこで神々からの報酬として龍に姿を変えます。

This lock regulates the water supply from the Herseltseloop to the Grote Nete.

Here the Herseltseloop flows into the Grote Nete. The Herseltseloop originates on the border between the municipalities of Laakdal and Herselt, at the edge of the Averbode forest and heath nature reserve. It continues to the Langdonken, where it finally flows into the Nete.

Near the entrance gate to a playground and sports field, in a beautiful spot where the Laambeek stream makes a sharp bend before flowing straight ahead after a second bend, all the way to the church parking lot and then under Kerkstraat. Lots of dragonflies in the summer.

The Baggemolen was already mentioned in a 1683 census, but it must be much older. The area around the Baggemolen may be the earliest inhabited center of Wolvertem, due to its elevation and the presence of abundant springs.
